El Centro para Sordos y Personas con Problemas de Audición es una organización sin fines de lucro, 501(c)(3), de servicio completo que ofrece servicios al cliente, capacitación laboral, búsqueda de empleo, clases de lenguaje de señas, defensa de derechos, programas para personas con problemas de audición, actividades para personas mayores, recreación, capacitación en habilidades para la vida y más. Servimos a 23 condados de la Costa del Golfo. Comenzamos en 1978 como el Consejo de la Zona de Corpus Christi para los Sordos, Inc. (CCACD), establecido para brindar servicios a personas con pérdida auditiva.
En 2003, CACD adoptó el nombre comercial “El Centro para Sordos y Personas con Problemas de Audición”, ampliando los servicios a la comunidad con problemas de audición. Desde su creación, el centro ha añadido programas para convertirse en una organización única y excepcional en el ámbito de los servicios para personas sordas o con problemas de audición.
